This rare report is complete and in a modern soft archival title cover with the original tan title wraps bound in. The binding is tight and very clean, original tan wraps with light chipping to edges, text and all maps and plates are very clean and bright, free of stamps etc. In very good condition.
The Tenth Report is a very well illustrated volume in which the various authors provide detailed reports on the geology of each county in California as well as special reports on the various mining districts with a focus on the gold mining and the methods used for mining. The report provides an excellent overview on the geology and mining industry in California at the end of 1890.
