The work is complete and in a later quarter calf and cloth with gilt spine titles. The binding is tight and very clean. Light toning to text, especially first and last pages. Contemporary signature and address of Philadelphia attorney William Baker on title page. In very good condition.

Contains the directory of names, occupations, addresses for the residents of the city of Philadelphia and a listing of City Council Members, institutions,courts,  libraries, banks, insurance companies, public buildings, hotels, avenues, streets, lanes, alleys, wharves etc. A wealth of information on Philadelphia for the year 1835.
