This rare work is complete and in early boards with a typed paper title label on spine edge and original blue title cover bound in. Rubbing to boards, text and chart very clean, inscribed to Alexander Agassiz on blue cover, with Harvard book plate on paste down and owner’s book plate below. In very good condition.

The WorldCatalog shows lists two copies of this work. Crossman was a civil engineer and compiled the data for this chart of sea level variations for Lakes Michigan, Huron and Erie over a thirty year period.
